Introduction

This guide shows you how to use the 'FILTER' feature in an assessment.

Step 1 - 'FILTER'

After onboarding or logging into the system and selecting an assessment, the assessment (that the customer sent you) will appear.

On the left-side, under the title of the assessment (e.g. 'Practice Assessment 8') and on the same line as 'Categories', click the 'FILTER' icon.

Step 2 - The 'Filters' Box

A 'Filters' box will now appear on screen, where you can select your filter option(s) for the assessment. In the box is a '+ ADD' dropdown menu. Click the '+ Add' dropdown menu.

The menu contains 3 options ('Text contains', 'Answer type' and 'Chat'). Select the relevant option(s).

Step 3a - 'Text contains'

If you select 'Text contains' from the dropdown menu in the 'Filters' box, the information in the box changes. The word 'where' will appear and you must:

  1. Type specific words in the 'Select' text box ('Enter keyword or phrases'); and/or

  2. Click the dropdown menu 'Search in', and select an option(s) from the list. (If you do not select an option, the system automatically pre-selects 'All' for you.)

For example, if we type the word '2FA' into the 'Select' box, only the control(s) with the word '2FA' in their question will appear. All the other controls will 'disappear' until you remove the filter. (Moreover, the categories that do not have controls containing your keyword, e.g. '2FA', will also disappear until you remove the filter.)

PS: The box also contains an '+ADD' dropdown menu as well. If you click it, you can further filter your search by selecting 'Answer type' or 'Chat'.

Step 3b - 'Answer type'

If you select 'Answer type' from the dropdown menu in the 'Filters' box, the information in the box changes. The word 'where' will appear as well as a 'Answer type' dropdown menu.

Click the 'Answer type' dropdown menu and a list will appear, containing all the answer types within the assessment e.g. 'Single line text, 'Multi line text', 'Radio button', 'Drop down', 'Multi select', 'Checkbox', 'File upload' and 'Date picker'.

Select the answer answer type(s) you wish to filter. Then, only the controls with those answer types will appear. (The other controls will disappear until you remove the filter. Moreover, the categories that do not have a control with the answer type you selected will also disappear until you remove the filter.)

PS: The box also contains an '+ADD' dropdown menu as well. If you click it, you can further filter your search by selecting 'Text contains' or 'Chat'.

Step 3c - 'Chat'

If you select 'Chat' from the dropdown menu in the 'Filters' box, the information in the box changes. The word 'where' will appear as well as a 'Chat' dropdown menu that will contain two options:

  1. 'Has a chat message'; and

  2. 'Doesn't have a chat message'.

Select one of the two options and then only the relevant controls will appear. For example, if you 'Has a chat message', only the messages that contain a 'CHAT' with the customer will appear. (Moreover, the categories that do not contain a control with a 'CHAT' will also disappear for until you remove the filter.)

PS: The box also contains an '+ADD' dropdown menu as well. If you click it, you can further filter your search by selecting 'Text contains' and/or 'Answer type'.
